📍 About this Trail

Moreeb Dune is one of those places where you immediately understand the scale of the Liwa Desert.

The drive takes you deep into the Empty Quarter, where the dunes become larger, steeper and more dramatic.

We drove through the Liwa desert, crossing long stretches of soft sand and rolling dunes before reaching the Moreeb area. The landscape feels endless, with huge dunes rising around you and almost no signs of city life.

The drive itself is the experience.

Stop on the way, climb a dune, watch the vehicles from a distance and wait for the sunset. The colors change quickly as the sun goes down.

For an overlander, Moreeb is a perfect combination of desert driving, photography, camping and adventure.
