About this trail

There are places you visit for adventure, and then there are places you visit simply to escape from everything.

Magnificent Lagoon in Umm Al Quwain is one of those places.

As you reach the lagoon, the landscape changes completely. Shallow blue water, green mangroves and small islands surround you. It feels quiet, natural and far away from the busy city.

A Perfect Camping Spot

This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon or camp overnight.

Set up your tent, prepare a BBQ and wait for sunset. As the sun goes down, the mangroves and lagoon turn into beautiful shades of orange and red.

It's the kind of sunset where you simply sit and watch.

Nature at Its Best

The lagoon is also a lovely place for nature and bird lovers. You can walk along the shoreline, explore the shallow water and watch birds around the mangroves.

There isn't a long list of things you need to do here.

Just slow down and enjoy nature.

Gypsy Overlanding Family Tip ❤️

You don't always need a challenging trail to have an adventure.
