A Mother of all Bead Centers – Arikamedu

An ancient trade center on the banks of the Ariyankuppam river which dates back to 300 BC. Archaeological artifacts unearthed from the site reveal ancient trade links with the Roman Empire and establish Arikamedu as the “mother of all bead centers” in the world.
