MUDBUG OFF-ROAD – Mud, Slopes & a Serious Challenge

Three of us from the Trailborn Offroad Community got together for something different testing our vehicles on a friend’s private land, where he is developing some exciting off-road tracks and resort stays.

For me, it was a great opportunity to put the Jimny through some proper testing.

The Tracks Were Serious! 🔥

Two sections of the trail were absolutely mind-blowing.

The steep drops, deep curves, water and mud gave me that intense off-road feeling, the kind that reminded me of watching the legendary Old Telegraph Track and Gunshot Creek challenges. Gunshot is well known for its steep, technical approach and recovery challenges.

And then came the real test.

After the trail filled with water, I took the Jimny back onto the steep inclined section. The obstacle had become extremely difficult. None of our 4x4s could make it through, and eventually, the winch had to come out!

Good Food. Good Friends. Good Day. ❤️

Our friend had arranged lunch for everyone, and the food was simply amazing. After a morning of mud, slopes and recovery, sitting down together made the experience even better.

By the end of the day, we packed up, thanked our friend for giving us this fantastic opportunity, and headed back.

No trophies. No competition. Just good people, good machines and one hell of an off-road day.
